  • Real Betis situation discussed abroad

Hey men, check this out, take a look at this conversation I´ve come acroos at some English-speaking website.

I´m copying & pasting the introductory intervention:

    Good morning,

I´m opening this thread to denounce publicly the tragedy Real Betis Balompié fans are living of late. A historical club in Spain which saw itself relagated to the Second Division of the Spanish league, a club ruined and with half its stadium mortagaged to the National Treasury, by the madness and treachery of the owner, the major share-holder, a thief known by the name of "Ruiz de Lopera", a money-thirsty dog who´s presently being investigated by the Spanish Penal Justice for robbery against the club Real Betis Balompié itself.

Last June 15, the greatest ever manifestation of football fans about a non-sportive affair took place in Seville, and it congregated some 90,000 Real Betis fans claiming against this man and its court of marionettes who support him in opposition of the interests of Betis economy. It was a festive day of reunion of all layers of Baetician society but at the same time a huge cry for freedom for Real Betis Balompié, 103 years of existence against robbery and crime, personified in this bloody raven, this "Ruiz de Lopera".

At present, we Betis fans grouped around the minorist shareholers´ association POR NUESTRO BETIS, are just awaiting for the verdict coming from the Tribunals of Justice about the legal process opened against the club owner. We are also committed to and are one of the pioneering associations related to the "Supporters´ Trusts" movement in Spain, a movement which has proved so productive and successful in Great Britain.

Geeetings from Seville, home and Throne of His Majesty Real Betis.

Thank you for sharing this article.

I have always felt that before the our club can move on, Lopera has to leave Betis. Otherwise we will lose 3-0 to plenty more teams like we did today.

Watch that Newcastle fan, he looks so interested in what he believed was a parallel story with that of his own clubs, and is so surprised at realising their Ashley gut is nothing as compared to our lopera lunatic...

I think the match has not been scheduled yet... but the hour will probably be the same as Salamanca's match, 18:00, in order to avoid a coincidence with WC games.
