Daniel Pacheco Lobato (Pizarra, 05-01-1991) today became the Heliopolitan club's fifth signing for next season. After the signings of Dani Giménez, Molinero, Bruno and Casado, all of them playing in the defensive line, Pacheco arrives to reinforce the offensive area, in which his creativity with the ball and his verticality which will be crucial in helping the them to fulfil their main objective, that of getting back in to the 'Liga' BBVA.
Pacheco, 23 years old and an international player, with Spain at youth levels, has landed in Sevilla having played a brilliant season on loan to AD Alcorcón, in which he showed his abundant quality during the second round of the 'Liga' Adelante (the second division). He played a fundamental role in the resurrection of José Bordalás's team. The player from Malaga did his apprenticeship at the FC Barcelona football academy and still in the U18 category he joined Liverpool FC, he later played for Norwich City, Rayo Vallecano, Huesca and finally AD Alcorcón. In this last season he played 32 games, scoring five goals and giving eight assists.
The talented attacking midfielder now with Real Betis Balompié was the runner-up in the U19 tournament in 2010, in which he was top scorer. On a personal level this was a very positive year for him, it was in this season that Pacheco had a chance to debut in the UEFA Champions League with Liverpool FC first team.
After passing his medical examination and signing his contract, Pacheco will join the group on Sunday and be presented on Monday after the renaming ceremony of the "Puerta de Cristales".
The football player, feeling confident after the signing, already speaks like a Betis player: "I had been looking forward to this moment.
