I went for one year to US. I was young, just 17 years old and stayed 11 months studyng my senior year in a High School in West Frankfort, Illinois.
I do still have some contact with my host family. I enjoyed that year.
I have been three times in US. I have been in Gulf Shores (Alabama), St Louis, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York...but never in Philadelphia. I would like to come back and visit that place. I also want to visit Minessota some summer.Comentario

If you really want to study english philology, I recomend you to read in english as much as you can, you may start with online papers, then english simplified books (for learners).
By now I watch all the movies ant tv series in original version (most of them in english) with english subtitles. I'm still finding very hard to understand some sentences by hearing, in those cases the subtitles help a lot.

I try to watch films and Tv series with subtitles in Spanish. I listen ALL THE TIME music in English. When I'm writing in this language, my brain is too busy and doesn't work rigthly xD But I don't give up. There are many people in this page with a very great level.

I do not think so. He stayed very calm in the Finidi times. Then came Denilson and after him the pearl from Valladolid and none of them was harrased. Last year he had a chance with Pancrate.

No, it is not. I have an english teacher for conversation and went to US for one year before go to the University (COU, there was called senior year, High School). Then I was very good in grammar and writing. I had to read an ancien english book called Beowulf (there is a movie now), and I got an A, in the highest level, but not anymore. I can speak better than write and I have lost vocabulary, so I would like to practice my written english in this post. I may edit some posts with my english teacher Roger. I want him to be a member of Betisweb and write to all of you in this post.
