Footballers who play in Spain’s top flight are now entitled to earn a minimum of 129,000 euros a year – while playersin the second division are entitled to earn a minimum of 64,500 euros across the same time.
For first division players, this also includes a minimum monthly salary of 5,375 euros – with 3,335 euros acting as the monthly figure for players in the second division. In addition to that, players are now entitled to earn 15% of of thetransfer fee that they command.
Footballers in Spain must also have 30 days of holiday throughout the calender year, for working up to 7 hours a daybut must have a minimum of a day’s rest per week.
Finally, clubs are obliged to make sure that each players has the access to 20 match day tickets, to supply to friends and family. Meanwhile, profits from trading card collectibles and stickers will now be split as follows: 65% going to the LFP, with the remaining 35% going to the AFP.
