Former Vitesse coach Ferrer Joins Cordoba

For the first time since he had to leave at Vitesse, in mid-2011 Albert Ferrer goes back to work as a trainer. The Spaniard has signed a contract with Cordoba, which plays in the Spanish Segunda Division.

Ferrer was in the 2010/2011 season as a coach on the bench in Arnhem. He was met by the then new owner Merab Jordania club. Led by Ferrer, former player of FC Barcelona, Vitesse made a disappointing season. It did participate in the playoffs just to escape. Following the poor performance of the contract, the former midfielder was disbanded after one year.

Cordoba is thirteenth in the Segunda Division, three points above the relegation red stripe.
