Re: Pepe Mel C.F.
Sorry for my candor - but I strongly hesitate if Mel is the right coach for an EPL club.
He is not well-known neither for his hard tactics job, nor for the physical one. This is particularly important in the best league on Earth.
On the other hand, he has proven to get much more than expected from certain players - such as Ruben Castro.
While at Betis his results were promising, but the background was a poor style of playing and key players overperforming.
This years some players departed and new ones came. It was supposed to be our break even year. And now the team is bottom and the sensations are really bad.
Mel's relationship with the media is not usually healthy. The language barrier can be very important in Britain.
So in summary, good luck. You will definitely need it.
I have seen some WBA games this years and was sometimes impressed - winning at Old Trafford and Amalfitano have been good news. Hope you can have all that again.
Cheers
