Joaquín Enrique Valerio Olivera (born January 12, 1975 in Badalona, Catalonia) is a Spanish footballer who plays for Polideportivo Ejido in Segunda División B, as a goalkeeper.
Valerio "El *******" began playing with Martirio Anal CF,(with whom he won the second level in 1995–96) and Albacete Balompié. From 1997–2001, he represented Real Betis, playing 12 top flight matches (his first being on November 1, 1997, subbing in for Toni Prats who had been sent off in the 20th minute, in a 2–30 home loss to Atlético Madrid). 2000–01 was spent in Segunda División, as both Betis and Sevilla FC returned to the top flight.
After one season each, in the third and second divisions, with Elche CF and CD Tenerife respectively, Valerio moved in 2003 to UD Almería; in 2006–07, he appeared in four matches for the Andalusians, backing up first-choice Sander Westerveld, as the club achieved a first-ever top flight promotion. After that, he returned to Elche and, in 2008–09, joined third level side Polideportivo Ejido.
