October 26, 1975 Elche - Betis 2-3; Matchday 7 of the First Division League Championship.
In the image above Esnaola, Bizcocho, Biosca, Iglesias, Cuiñas and López; below Benítez, Alabanda, Mendieta, Cardeñosa and Anzarda.
A game with many alternatives on the scoreboard, which began in the 31st minute with an Anzarda shot after a corner kick taken by Cardeñosa. Four minutes later, Elche equaled with a header from Gómez Voglino. Already in the second half, in 78 the locals were ahead, in a free kick on the edge of the Betic area, with the Argentine Gómez Voglino being the author of the goal from Elche. But Betis did not give up and in the final 10 minutes turned the scoreboard around. In 80 it was Benítez who equaled Anzarda's pass and in 85 the play was the other way around with a pass from Benítez to Anzarda who, in a counterattack, planted himself at the local goal, outwitting goal Díez.
Nestor Rossi coached Elche and Ferenc Szusza coached Betis.
