The Malaga Club of Soccer deeply regrets the events which happened with fans travelling to Seville yesterday, Sunday 11 of January, in which buses organized by the rocks 'Front Bokeron' and 'Malaka Supporters' had to return to Malaga without being able to witness the encounter between Real Betis Football and Malaga Club of Soccer in the stadium Manuel Ruiz of Lopera.
Since last Thursday and Friday, the management tried to negotiate the distribution of entrance tickets to credited malaguistas at the offices of La Rosaleda, and when this was not possible because of the refusal of the club organizer of the encounter, contact with the coordinator of security of the National Police was established to facilitate the collection of entrances by a representative for the peas as required by Real Betis Football.
The morning prior to the encounter, the Director of Security of the Malaga Club of Soccer, Eugenio Lorente, contacted the person in charge of the ticket office at the Manuel Ruiz of Lopera to get permission for them to allow representatives with ID to collect the reserved tickets before the hour established by the Real one Betis Football the 15:00 hours-, as was stated on the Betis web site last Thursday, this was denied, delaying him.
At the same time, the president of the Malaga Club of Soccer and members of the board who were present in the stadium Manuel Ruiz of Lopera, tried to talk with the person in charge of the Andalusian club when they had knowledge of the problem, just 30 minutes before the start of the encounter. These conversations were maintained throughout the course of the game without coming to solution.
Mlaga C.F. also regrets the discomfort expressed by the fans and the measures adopted by the bodies of security. These guidelines are set down by the qualification of the game as 'high-risk' and they respond to actions established by the Delegation of the Government, and in no case, accountable to Malaga C.F.
This a very bad PR from the Betis board
