Chaparro: Real Betis should have taken something from Atlético game.

Betis had their opportunities to leave the Spanish capital with something to show for their valiant efforts, and their coach felt that they certainly didn't deserve to lose.
Paco Chaparro felt that Real Betis should have taken at least a point from their visit to Atlético de Madrid on Sunday evening and admitted he was disappointed with the display.

The Andalucian club's coach watched as his side missed some good chances to draw level after Maxi Rodriguez had put the hosts into the lead in the Vicente Calderón.

Instead of equalising in the second half though, Betis fell further behind when Sergio Agüero scored on the break and ensured that Atleti took all three points.

"We should have taken something from the game. We had two clear chances, but nothing more," Chaparro told reporters.

"Atlético have one or two decisive players that can decide games on the break and they beat you.

"Generally, I did not like the game. It is one thing to have the ball and another to play with speed."
