We seem to get one of these games a season, when it's been raining so much the pitch is basically unplayable and the result is a total lottery. You just have to cross your fingers and hope things go your way...which they did today, thanks to a poacher's goal in each half from Rubén Castro and Vincenzo Rennella. So don't read too much into the scoreline, but we'll happily take the three points, and the board will no doubt be grateful for the time this buys them in the search for the next coach

Llagostera 0 - Betis 2: Ruben Castro made history in the happy debut of Juan Merino. The canarian player and Rennela scored Betis goals. In summary, Merino and the players solved it with a victory well worked.
