The weekend's league fixture sees Betis travel up to Pamplona to play Osasuna tomorrow, Sunday, at 12noon. The home side have got off to the worst start of the three relegated clubs and find themselves treading water in the bottom half of the table, but their home form isn't so bad and, despite the much-needed win over Recre last week, Betis have yet to look like world-beaters, so this is no foregone conclusion.

Osasuna 3-2 Betis.

There's no disguising it - this was as demoralising a defeat as they come. Betis went into half-time two-up after playing as well as they have done for over a year - the papers this morning are saying their lead should have been at least double what it was - but after the break the visitors didn't just lose the thread, but even ended up conceding three bad goals from set-pieces. The winner came just five minutes from full-time. Ouch, ouch and ouch again.
