  • Valladolid-Real Betis

    Next up:

Valladolid, who are second in the table with a 100 per cent record at home. I suspect we'll know more aboutBetis's promotion credentials, one way or another, by the end of the weekend. The game at the Estadio Nuevo José Zorilla kicks off at 12noon on Sunday

    Valladolid 0-0 Betis.

I didn't see the game myself, but it sounds as though "hard-fought draw" just about sounds it up. Betis still seem to be lacking any sort of fluency with the ball, but at least the defending has tightened up and Antonio Adán between the sticks is apparently looking much more like his old self again. I think most Béticos would have settled for this result beforehand, and with leaders Las Palmas, who visit the Benito Villamarín next weekend, only drawing, we remain on the heels of the leaders.

Betis: Adán; Molinero, Perquis, Jordi, Casado; Ndiaye (Jorge Molina, m. 56), Lolo Reyes; Cejudo (Pacheco, m. 62), Matilla, Kadir (Dani Ceballos, m. 73); Rubén Castro.

      R. Valladolid 0 - Real Betis Balompié 0

Betis survives in Pucela. Ruben Castro didn´t score, but once again he was the best
