Granada are reportedly close to concluding an agreement for winger, Juan Carlos, who has spent the last two seasons on loan at Real Betis, from Portuguese side Braga.
According to our ever reliable colleague Sergio Yepes, based at Granadino daily newspaper, Ideal.es, Granada CF are at the point of closing a deal for winger, Juan Carlos Pérez López, who is more commonly known simply as Juan Carlos.
The contract of the player is owned by Portuguese side, SC Braga, though 24-year-old Juan Carlos has spent the last two seasons on loan at Real Betis.
During his first season, he helped Betis qualify for the Europa League, making 25 appearances in La Liga, plus 1 in the Copa del Rey. Last season, which ended in relegation for the Andaluz club, he made 20 appearances in La Liga, 4 in the Europa League and 2 in the Copa del Rey.
As Sergio Yepes reports, having obtained details from sources involved in the negotiations, terms have been “practically agreed” with Juan Carlos, with negotiations yet to be concluded fully between Granada and Braga.
Juan Carlos was the subject of interest from English Premier League side Everton last summer, but they couldn’t agree terms on a move which at the time, valued the player at up to €3 million.
