Yes, really. Not even in an ironic way. This afternoon the youngsters of Betis B, needing an away win in their last game of the season, overturned a 2-0 half-time deficit to beat Gerena 2-3 (with the crucial goal coming deep into injury time) and finish as champions of their Tercera División group. As well as being a significant achievement in itself, this should give them an easier draw in the forthcoming play-offs for promotion back to Segunda B. It's also a good sign for the future as a good number of the players can be expected to step up to the first team next year.
