Fiorentina striker, Joaquín Sanchez has admitted that his desire his to end his career where it all began, at Real Betis
In an interview with Daledetacon.com, Joaquín admitted that he’s devestated by Betis’ relegation and wants to return to the club and retire.
“It’s caused me great saddness, to see that happen to the team where you grew up and you’ve enjoyed as a footballer, is sad. From a distance, I’m suffering with them.
“I’ve always said that the best thing about the club are the fans, the love and the joy they have. We will soon be back in the Primera and the best fans of the Primera. My dream is to retire at Betis, I’ve enjoyed many years on the team that has given me everything as a player.
“It is true that I’ve been away from Sevilla for many year and coming back is always difficult. I have two more years on my contract with Fiorentina and I don’t know what will happen, but coming back to Betis is in my mind.”
