Real Betis attacking midfielder, Salva Sevilla, suffered a broken bone in his hand, during the 1-3 win at Levante on Thursday night, which requires surgery to correct.
Real Betis have suffered another injury setback, as they fight for their survival in the Primera.
The Andaluz club announced that following an unfortunate clash with Keylor Navas, during the victory at Levante on Thursday night, midfielder Salva Sevilla suffered a nasty fracture in his left hand.
The player will undergo surgery on Friday evening, to repair the fractured bone, that was also displaced. As such, it is expected that Salva will be sidelined for between three and four weeks, ruling him out of action, in what remains of the Betis bid to stay in the Primera.
Salva scored the opening goal during the 1-3 win at the Ciutat de Valencia, which breathed some life into the chances of Betis avoiding the drop. Ahead of that game, defender Paulao was forced to withdraw, another amongst the lengthy list of casualties and will undergo further tests on a hamstring problem in his left thigh, to determine how long he may be sidelined.
