    He was the fourth official at the 2012 European Championship final between Spain and Italy

    Cuneyt Cakir Turkish referee will be in charge of administering justice in the Sevilla derby in Europe, as has been found orgullodenervion. UEFA plans to make it official during the morning. It will, therefore, face the novel for fans in Seville derby with so much history.

    Cakir with much international experience as he has conducted meetings in the Champions League, Europe League and meetings selections.

    Interestingly, in the final of Euro 2012, Cakir, participated as fourth official in the match between Spain and Italy, in which the selection of Spain became the second consecutive time in the Euro Cup Champion, defeating his opponent by result of 4-0.

    Born in Istanbul (23/11/1976), Cakir has directed a total of 27 official games in the 2013-14 season. Most of them belong to the Turkish Super League but also international meetings. The last one took place last week when Cakir was the person responsible for arbitrating the friendly match between the Czech Republic and Norway which ended tied to two. Cakir also starred in November 2013 when he had to run the first leg of the tie of the World Cup play-off pitting Ukraine and France which ended in victory for the home side two goals to zero.

    The referee chosen to whistle the first Seville derby in Europe has also had the opportunity to appear in the continental showpiece. Cakir has called three meetings of the group stage of this season's Champions League. Schalke 04, Steaua Bucharest (3-0), Olympique Marseille - Naples (1-2) and Celtic - Milan (0-3) were the three games in which Cakir had to render justice.
